Initially, I intended to provide mediation services only.  However, I have
received requests to serve as an arbitrator.  For the time being, I am willing to
serve as an arbitrator as long as I have enough free time to do so.

I first started serving as an arbitrator in the early 1980's, and have arbitrated
attorney fee, uninsured motorist, and juducial arbitrations.  I did not keep
count, but I estimate the number to be somewhere between 50 and 75.

My approach to arbitration to to attempt to decide the case according to what
experience tells me would be the most probable result that a jury would reach,
rather than what I personally would do were I to serve on the jury deciding that
case.

Also, in making a decision, my practice is to write an opinion setting forth  the
reasons why the results were reached.
